Sekmēt pilsoniskās sabiedrības attīstību, ceļot iedzīvotāju izglītības un kultūras līmeni;

Organizēt labdarības pasākumus, palīdzot un sniedzot atbalstu invalīdiem, sirmgalvjiem, sociālā riska grupām;

The goals of the association “Laime Saimē”

To promote the local initiative and growth of the residents of the town of Pļaviņas, to raise their self-confidence and involvement in solving various issues;

To study the history of Pļaviņas and its surrounding region as well as to preserve the elements of historical buildings;

To promote local patriotism and the respectful attitude of the inhabitants of Pļaviņas towards the history of the town and its most prominent inhabitants;

To co-operate with the National Guard and the Youth Guard in the realization of the goals of the association;

To facilitate the improvement of the quality of life of the residents of Pļaviņas city through sustainable development;

To promote the development of civil society by raising the educational and cultural level of the population;

Organize charity events, lending a helping hand and providing support to the disabled, the elderly and those in social risk groups;

Organize useful social activities and other interesting ways to spend time;

Protect and preserve the Cultural Heritage.
